The 2025 XT5 is powered by a 2.0L four-cylinder engine that pumps out 235 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. If you need more power, the available 3.6L V6 will give you 310 horsepower and 271 lb-ft of torque. In both engines, power is sent to the wheels through a nine-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, and all-wheel drive is available on all the trims.

Front-wheel drive comes with three drive modes: Tour, Snow/Ice, and Sport. All-wheel drive trims add an “Off-Road” mode to enhance traction in difficult conditions. The available Brembo performance front brakes offer precise stopping power when you need it. Chassis damping control is also available for improved ride and handling on all road conditions.

Seating and Comfort

Inside, the XT5 looks premium with upscale materials and a great layout. The standard Inteluxe leatherette seats can be optioned with perforated leather seats in top trims. Heated front seats, an 8-way power driver’s seat, a 6-way power passenger seat, and dual-zone automatic climate control all come standard. Optional amenities include a heated steering wheel and a tri-zone automatic climate control system.

Infotainment and Connectivity

The XT5 comes standard with the Cadillac User Experience infotainment system, which can be accessed through an 8-inch touchscreen display. It’s enabled for wireless phone integration through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which lets you access your favorite apps on the screen.
